Don't like the way the character "catches" on the floor or walls. Makes a lot of jumps way harder to make than they really should be. Other than that a really solid platformer. Liked the story up until the somewhat pretentious reveal at the end.

Very fun, well thought out game.

Lacks the skilled element and charm that made Burrito Bison such a blast to play. Some of the design choices are odd too, like anvils in the sky and "lucky beer". In the case of the latter, something like a shaken up soda would have fit the blasting off effect better and would have been more kid friendly. Some minor gripes are that its annoying how the people can jump into the air to grab your burger and how the spinner at the beginning is almost impossible to get a timing down for.

The presentation is great and the game IS fun, it just lacks the polish needed to be really fantastic.

Incredibly unpolished. There are too many levels that are just beginners traps, with no way to figure out how to deal with the stage before everything falls apart. Very frustrating. And while its interesting that the stage won't fall apart the same way twice this creates way too many situations where its impossible to finish a level because theres too much blocking your way.

Hopefully a more wholly realized sequel comes around eventually.

Is it wrong that I kind of liked this? Theres a good, intense rhythm focused game in there if Capcom wanted to make this anything more than a quick and dirty piece of cellphone shovelware.

So far as this flash specifically goes, its pretty impressive for something done in such a short time.

A very fun, short game. I wouldn't mind a sequel centered around a different monster.

Thanks. I'll see if I could make a cool sequel to this one!

Has the same problem too many "hardcore" games have: mistakes the need for pixel perfect movement and brutal memorization for skilled play. I gave up after the third level because I just could not puzzle out the proper timing to proceed.

Kooh responds:

But I did focus on Pixel Perfect Movement and Brutal Memorization. It's all patterns.

This game is hard but for all the wrong reasons. The levels require pixel perfect movement but the controls are not fine tuned to allow this. The end result (especially once you hit the final ten or so levels) is that is that you end up throwing yourself at an obstacle hoping that THIS time the game will give you a pass. I stalled out on level 35 because out of almost 200 attempts, I only made it past the initial spike shaft ONCE.

Everything else is well done. I like the music and the graphics are nice. I also would have liked to have seen the ending because the game does have a good setup. But the challenge is so unfair that its just not worth seeing it through to the end.

Some very obtuse puzzles here, with the solutions defaulting to "click everywhere and try using every item on every hot spot" too often. The moss/bell puzzle is probably the worst offender here, because not only does the moss not stand out, but why would I think to stuff it as a sound dampener?

Everything else is very well done. Hopefully doing the larger game will give you some breathing room to create more logical puzzles.

The game never gets difficult enough to justify its length. I know its meant to be artsy but it takes way too long to play for way too little payoff.
